The Campaign for Saint Bernard's Church The Campaign for Saint Bernard's Church is a capital campaign began in the summer of 2006 with the goal of raising $750,000 from within the parish for the rebuild effort, and a total of $1.25 million for the whole of the campaign.
In 2007 the Campaign moved into its Community Phase, after having raised about $750,000. in its Parish Phase.
We appealed to the people of the Somerset Hills for their help in restoring historic Saint Bernard's Church. Our goal has been to raise another $500,000. beyond the $750,000. raised in the Parish Phase, for a total of $1.25 million.

Our sole purpose is to restore the church building of Saint Bernard's Parish to the fullness of its mission and ministry. As a historic building of significant artistic and cultural merit, our task is to reconstruct the landmark edifice as it was prior to the tragic fire of October 23, 2004.
Code upgrades required by law, as well as important additions that will enhance the usability of the building, have led us to seek additional funds. A new heating unit and HVAC system have been installed, a new handicap entrance and bathroom added, all exterior stonework has been repointed and repaired, and the great oculus window reconstructed.
In short, now have a brand new Gothic Revival Church fully equipped for community ministry in the new millennium.

CCS Fundraising
A special thank you to Mr. Jeff Machi and Mr. Ryan Smith of the NYC firm of CCS Fundraising for their work in directing the Campaign for Saint Bernard's. Mr. Smith was our on-site representative in September-October 2006. He organized and mentored the parish leadership for the effort, as well as designed the promotional literature. Thank you to Jeff and Ryan for a job well done.
