Welcome to The Rector's Page!  I hope that you've navigated your way through our website with ease and that you enjoy this virtual visit with us.  But the virtual visit pales in comparison to the real thing. 

Consider your stop here an invitation to join us for worship and ministry at St. Bernard's Church.  We gather for worship and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist (Mass) on Saturday evenings in the fall, winter, and spring at 5:30pm and all Sunday mornings at 10:00am.  The Saturday service is Rite One, which means we use "traditional" language in the liturgy--think of it as the service where we refer to God as "Thee" or "Thou." However, while the Rite One languge might be more formal our worship at that service is more casual.  Usually we do not use music in our worship on Saturdays; sometimes we do.

Sundays at 10:00am is our principal service of the weekend, the Celebration of Holy Eucharist, Rite Two.  It is at this service, three Sundays a month, that our choir joins us for worship, and in a powerful way our voices are raised to God in praise and thanksgiving.  Church school is offered Sundays at 9:45am for children ages pre-k through 6th grade. We also offer infant and toddler care. At coffee hour you will have a chance to learn more about St. Bernard's Church and our various ministries.

Wherever you are on your journey, we welcome you to join us as we walk with Jesus at St. Bernard's Church.  As Jesus called his disciples by saying "follow me," my prayer is that you will sense Jesus' calling you to follow Him, wherever that may be; and if it ends up that you follow Jesus at St. Bernard's Church, I look forward to meeting you.
