The Children's Center

The Children's Center of Saint Bernard's Church is a private day care facility offering morning hours Monday through Friday during the school year (September-June), except on holidays.

The Center was established in September 1992, originally as a drop-off baby-sitting center. Licensed by the State of New Jersey, it serves 12 children per day. It offers a nurturing program, designed to provide a positive first school experience for children between the ages of 18 months and 3 years of age.

Mrs. Polly Boynton, Director of The Children's Center, has supervised the program for over ten years. Polly is assisted by Ms. Janet Lefkowitz.

The Center is located on the ground floor of the Parish House (entrance at the west end) and uses the Great Hall as a play area, as well as the outdoor playground at the east end of the upper parking lot.
