Coming from the North traveling on Route 287 South

• Exit from 287 South at Exit 30 B/North Maple Avenue (to Route 202).
• Take Exit 30 B ramp (right) onto North Maple Avenue and continue to the first light.
• At first light make a left onto Route 202 South.
• Follow Route 202 South (Morristown Road) into town, passing the King’s Shopping center on right.
• Continue on 202 South straight through the light at Olcott Square (intersection of Mount Airy Road and 202), passing the old movie theatre on the right and Bernard’s Inn. The Bernardsville Train Station will appear on the left.
• Make right onto Claremont Road before the Wachovia Bank (across from Train Station).
• Go up the hill and around the bend (road bends left) on Claremont Road.
• Saint Bernard’s Church is on the left after wooded area.
• Turn left onto Mine Mount Road (immediately after the church).
• Make first left into the church driveway and follow the driveway to the upper parking lot. (Street parking is also permitted where available, as well as a small parking lot on Claremont Road, on the right as you come to the church).
• From the upper parking lot walk down the stone steps toward the left end of the Parish Hall (not the church building currently under repair). Enter and follow the hallway to its end and enter the stairwell on the left. Go up the stairs to the Great Hall where we are currently worshipping.

Coming from the South traveling on Route 287 North

• Exit from 287 North at Exit 26 B/Mount Airy Road.
• Take Exit 26 B ramp (right) to the stop sign at the end of the ramp.
• Turn right onto Mount Airy Road and proceed straight under the overpass bridge.
• Follow Mount Airy Road to the first light and bear right at the Yield Sign (to stay on Mount Airy).
• Travel Mount Airy Road into town to the light at Olcott Square (intersection of Mount Airy and Route 202/Mine Brook Road), just after crossing the RR bridge.
• Turn left at this intersection light onto Mine Brook Road (202 South), passing the old movie theatre on the right and Bernard’s Inn. The Bernardsville Train Station will appear on the left.
• Make a right onto Claremont Road before the Wachovia Bank (across from Train Station).
• Go up the hill and around the bend (road bends left) on Claremont Road.
• Saint Bernard’s Church is on the left after wooded area.
• Turn left onto Mine Mount Road (immediately after the church).

Parking

Parking is available in the upper lot of the church, a gravel parking area located behind and above the parish buildings, accessed from Mine Mount Road. From the upper lot, pedestrians can make their way to the Parish House most easily by walking down the stone steps, the entrance to which is found near the middle of the lot on the church side. Snow removal is provided for this lot throughout the winter.

Additional parking is available in the small lots on the opposite side of Claremont Road, directly across from the Parish House. From these lots pedestrians should cross Claremont Road and follow the walkway to the Parish House, ascend the steps and take the walkway leading along its north side to the double doors at the west end of the Parish House, the end doors facing the church building.

Limited street parking is available along Claremont Road in front of the Bookworm Book Shop (99 Claremont), as well as along Seney Drive, a street accessible from the five way intersection of Claremont, Mine Mount, and Seney (the intersection at which the church is located).

Child Care on Sunday Mornings

Professional child care is offered for children ages infant-toddler (-1 to 4) every Sunday morning during the 10 a.m. service.

The infant-2 year old child care room is the second door on the left in the lower hall of the Parish House, as you enter through the double doors at the west end (the doors facing the church building).

The 3-4 year old toddler care room is the third door on the right.

Parents are welcome to place their children in care for the 10 a.m. service and return to pick them up at Coffee Hour (about 11 a.m.).
